November Newsletter

November 30, 2020

Along with my responsibilities as councilor, I was also appointed to the Finance and Special Issues Committee and was also made Liaison to the Library.

I am reminded every day that we all live in a special community. I am proud that Mayor McClusky and all the folks involved in the Homewood Christmas Paradefound a solution for us to celebrate the season safely. I am inspired by folks like Mary Liz Ingram who started The Sharing Table to make sure others don't go hungry.

As we all continue to navigate the pandemic, it is imperative that we continue to follow the guidance from our public health officials. I wish you all health and happiness. Happy Thanksgiving!

As Library Liaison, I recently had an opportunity to tour the library with Debbie Fout, Library Director, and Dr. Paul Doran, Library Board Chair. I was able to see the recent renovations and expansion and it looks great. The Homewood Star recently featured Debbie's tremendous 35 year record of service to the library here. We are lucky to have her!
